Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, I am a first-generation college student who values curiosity, adaptability, and perseverance. Beyond academics, I express creativity through art and build community through sports and volunteerism. These experiences shape my perspective and strengthen my ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
Athletics
As a member of the Ultimate Frisbee team, I strengthened my teamwork and communication skills. Early on, I helped coordinate between team captains and university resources to implement a mandatory 20:1 training, promoting interpersonal violence prevention and sparking dialogue on discrimination across teams.

Painting allows me to express creativity, patience, and attention to detail. It helps me slow down, think from new perspectives, and approach challenges with an open mind.
Volunteerism
In my free time, I connect with the community through volunteering with the American Civic Association. Through volunteer work and the experience I gained in my philanthropy course, I have gained perspective on the importance of empathy, inclusivity, and giving back to communities. These experiences continue to shape my values and commitment to meaningful impact.
