Academic Profile

I am maintaining Summa Cum Laude standing at Binghamton University in Harpur College, pursuing a BS in Integrative Neuroscience and BA in Economics with a minor in Digital and Data Studies, and I am a member of the Scholars Program. I have been on the Dean’s List every semester since Fall 2022.

  • During my three-month internship at Robert Packer Hospital, I shadowed physicians across 10+ departments and gained over 200 hours of combined clinical and patient care experience. I collaborated with the Guthrie Trauma Surgery Team to collect and analyze data on the efficiency of ERCP vs. Spyglass procedures in treating choledocholithiasis, measured by length of stay. I presented our findings at the internship poster symposium and the Pennsylvania NSQIP Consortium, and I am currently contributing to a final manuscript for SAGES submission.

  • Through the International Health Alliance, I contributed to oral health awareness by writing a case study and supporting education initiatives through curriculum development and outreach strategies. As part of this experience, I traveled to the Dominican Republic for on-site clinical shadowing, observing real-time procedures and gaining firsthand exposure to global dental care. I also worked with a local orphanage to spread awareness of oral health, connecting academic knowledge to practice and broadening my understanding of community and globally centered healthcare.

  • A Bug’s-Eye View: Examining the Impact of The Bug Squad Exhibit at a Local Children’s Museum

As part of the Binghamton Source Project, I led a team of four in studying how children ages 2–12 engaged with The Bug Squad exhibit and how this influenced parents’ decisions to return. Our mixed-methods research, conducted under Dr. Amber Simpson and Dr. Brenda Meyers, resulted in a publication that provided qualitative and quantitative findings to support the sustainability and retention of interactive exhibits that foster children’s development. The project was presented at Binghamton’s poster symposium and the manuscript has accumulated 192 downloads, worldwide, from the repository as of September 2025.

  • Air Quality in NYC

My interest in uncovering data to find meaningful conclusions led me to pursue a minor in digital and data studies. One of my projects focused on analyzing trends in air quality across New York City’s five boroughs using a dataset from NYC OpenData. I examined and visualized this dataset with Python in Anaconda, and I am now expanding my skills by learning R for data cleaning, analysis, and visualization.

  • Collaborated with 13 peers to design and lead a multicultural fair for elementary students at Vestal Hills Elementary, creating opportunities to learn about diversity and community building. Guided students through activities such as making Chinese lanterns and leading yoga sessions to encourage inclusion and cultural awareness. Earned a micro-credential for leadership development and presented the project at a poster symposium.

  • Debate

Placed as a novice semifinalist at the George Mason Debate Tournament (2023) after a two-day competition and eight rounds of debating, demonstrating strong persuasive ability and effective communication. This achievement also contributed to placing at the top of my class that semester.

    Philantropy

Persuaded my class in a charity pitch competition to donate $125 to Safe Horizon, an organization that provides support and promotes justice for victims of crime and abuse. As a class, we also researched local nonprofits and successfully argued for the American Civic Association to receive a $10,000 donation on behalf of our class.

Served as the Philanthropy Chair for AOE. Organized tabling and baked handmade goods for fundraising. Raised over $250 for CHOW, a local food pantry, and Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital.
